GAMPLAYER / INFORMATION

Testing, ratings & corrections

How GamPlayer describes games, checks its catalog, measures player activity, and handles corrections.

Describe what the build actually does

Controls references describe the available catalog build. An original game and a browser adaptation may differ. The game’s own instructions take priority when there is a difference.

Automated availability checks verify that a page or file responds. They do not prove that a full game works, that every level can be completed, or that a game has been tested on every phone or browser. We do not label the whole catalog “60 FPS verified” or guarantee that a site is accessible on a managed school or workplace network.

Practical player guides

Guides explain objectives, listed controls, common mistakes, and basic troubleshooting. Some writing and checks are assisted by software. Editorial and operational responsibility remains with Sakib Khandokar Meraz. We make hands-on claims only when the specific testing has taken place.

Honest activity numbers

Public play counts measure deduplicated game starts recorded from October 30, 2026 onward. Opening a game page is not counted as playing. For self-hosted games, a start is recorded after interaction with the game; browser and network identity are used to reduce repeated counting. Cross-origin publisher players do not expose trusted gameplay input to GamPlayer, so we do not count their iframe loads as game starts.

Ratings use votes submitted on GamPlayer. A game without votes is unrated. We do not display imported placeholder votes or treat a creator’s audience numbers as GamPlayer traffic. These counters are not audited unique-person counts.

Publication checks

New submissions are assessed for enjoyable gameplay, challenge, content variety, presentation, animation, sound, controls, loading and stability. Unfinished prototypes are excluded. Before release, the publication review records quality, launch behavior, attribution and distribution permission. A retired title stays blocked until its catalog hold is explicitly removed. Scheduled publishing only releases approved entries. Collections describe their selection criteria and do not guarantee compatibility.

Corrections and broken games

Use the report form and include the game URL, browser, device, what happened, and what you expected. Reports are stored for the operator to review. Important corrections should be reflected in the affected guide or listing.

Commercial relationships

Paid placements or affiliate links, if introduced, should be labeled where they appear. A game listing does not imply a partnership or endorsement by its original developer.
