How do I start a drift?

Turn into the corner, tap the handbrake or lift and reapply the throttle to unsettle the rear, then steer slightly the other way to hold the angle. Most of these games map the handbrake to space or shift.

Why does my drift keep spinning out?

Usually too much steering input after the slide starts. Once the car is sideways, small corrections and steady throttle hold the angle, while a full lock in either direction ends the run.

Are drift games the same as racing games?
