How Merging Works
Each turn you slide all tiles simultaneously. When two tiles with the exact same number collide during a move, they merge into one tile displaying their sum (2 + 2 = 4, 4 + 4 = 8, 8 + 8 = 16, up to 2048). After every slide, a fresh 2 or 4 tile randomly appears in an empty cell.
